Special Events

Cedar Creek is a beautiful, peaceful, special place that God has set aside for many to enjoy. You will find it to be a warm and comfortable space to utilize for your special group, business, or gathering. We have hosted Christian authors, women’s ministry leaders, women’s groups, Bible journalers, Bible studies, homeschool moms, non-profit business retreats, women’s group brunches and small Christmas banquets.

What to Expect: Special Events

• personalized event design

  …We do our best to meet the needs of your group. The cost varies with the number of different elements you want in your event. We love to try to do special things such as theme related decor, special request menus, fine dining, etc. For one event we reserved the gazebo at a Covered Bridge and threw an old fashioned picnic with music and special hats. The photo on the classic Bridge of Madison County was a special memory and keepsake. We may not be able to do everything you request, but we sure will try to make your event special for your group!

• comfortable ACCOMMODATIONS

  …There are beds for 9, but utilizing the comfortable couches and sectional, we have had groups of 12 overnight . We can serve a maximum of 16 for meetings or banquets. All linens are provided. 6’ tables can be utilized and arranged to fit your needs. Two spacious family rooms offer comfortable conversation breakout space. Enjoy grilling outside and eating delicious food on the deck. Cedar Creek property is country living at its best…gorgeous and peaceful. You can take small hikes around the pond and over the creek or enjoy outdoor games on the beautiful lawn.

• Space (literally and metaphorically)

  …Think of it as having your own small lodge all to yourself with a personal cook preparing delicious home-cooked meals and serving you throughout your stay. There are several options to accommodate your group needs and size. We can plan some breakout sessions or games/activities for your group at your request. There are spaces for you all to gather as a group and many nooks for you personally to reflect, ponder and hopefully pray.
